Smart card
The Deutschlandticket as a chip card in a convenient credit card format. The card is personalized and recognized throughout Germany. It is valid as a ticket as long as your subscription is active. You can also reuse the chip card if you book the Deutschlandticket multiple times.

In addition to the online ticket shop, the Deutschlandticket can only be requested at one of the SWL Mobil service centers at the central bus station or in Travemünde.
Please note the following important deadlines:
Order your mobile ticket and chip card by the 15th of the month for the following month.
Cancellations by the 10th of the month for the end of the month.
Switching between mobile phone and chip card is possible until the 15th of the month for the following month.
Switching from a subscription for the SH region to the Deutschlandticket is possible until the 15th of the month for the following month.

Where do you get your chip card?
You can order your personal Deutschlandticket as a chip card or mobile ticket conveniently online from home or with in-person assistance at our ServiceCenters.
Is the paper ticket still available?
The paper version of the ticket has no longer been available since 01.01.2024. If you would like to convert your paper ticket into a mobile ticket or a chip card, you can do so by submitting a change request. This can be submitted in person or by mail at one of our ServiceCenters.
What happens when you pause your subscription?
If you take out a new subscription, simply continue using your existing chip card. It can be reloaded again and again. So make sure to take good care of it.
Who can use the chip card?
The chip card is valid for you personally and is also recognized throughout Germany. You can start using it on the first day of any month.
Why is my ticket no longer displayed in the app?
If the digital Germany Ticket is not displayed in the app, it is usually because you have been logged out of the app due to a security feature. To have your ticket displayed in the app again, you need to log out of your customer account and log back in.
I have forgotten my login password in the NAH.SH app - how can I reset it?
Unfortunately, our employees cannot reset your password in the NAH.SH app. Please go to the app on your mobile phone and click on "Passwort vergessen" during the login process. You will then receive an initial password to regain access to your account.
I did not receive any further access data for the NAH.SH app after the order confirmation. What can I do?
You will receive the order confirmation for the ticket from us, you can set the access data yourself. Please download the NAH.SH app and create an account for yourself. Then assign a password to manage the Deutschland Ticket in your account.
Where can I get the password for accessing the NAH.SH app?
You can choose your own password as soon as you have created your account in the NAH.SH app.
When entering my email in the NAH.SH app, error messages appear (e.g. email unknown). What can I do?
The email you provided when ordering the Deutschland Ticket must match exactly with the input of the email in the NAH.SH app. Please check for any differences such as capitalization, possible umlauts, or other punctuation marks/dots.
