Holders of a valid ostseecard from the municipalities in the south region can purchase a discounted ticket marked “ostseecard Region Süd.”
Note: Children do not automatically receive their own ostseecard until the age of 18, but only upon request.

The south region includes the following municipalities: Neustadt in Holstein, Sierksdorf, Scharbeutz, Timmendorfer Strand, and the Lübeck-Travemünde district.
In the direction of Lübeck, the respective ostseecard is only valid up to the Travemünder Landstraße stop. For trips beyond this point, a ticket according to the Schleswig-Holstein fare must be purchased.

The ostseecard is valid during the period indicated on the card. The validity period is 2 hours from the time printed on the ticket.
