The short-distance ticket is valid for immediate departure. It is valid from Monday to Friday starting at 9 am, and all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The ticket is valid regardless of fare zones. Changing trains and interrupting the journey is not allowed.
Up to 3 children under the age of 6 can travel free of charge per ticket. Further information on companion regulations.
Within the Lübeck region (fare zones 6000 - 6008, 5510, 5515, 5520), no SH or BahnCard discount is possible. This also applies to the Deutschlandticket and its variants for students.
