Tickets can be ordered in writing at the ServiceCenter Travemünde. The application for the ticket must be received at the ServiceCenter Travemünde by the 15th of the previous month. Tickets are issued in the form of subscription cards, starting on the 1st of a month. Subscription cards are delivered in partial shipments by post in a timely manner for a maximum period of one year.
An extension for another year requires presenting proof of eligibility at the ServiceCenter Travemünde.
A prerequisite is that the address of the primary residence on the Priwall is entered in the German national ID card.
When applying, a temporary ticket will be issued until the first delivery of the subscription cards. The temporary ticket can be obtained at the ServiceCenter Travemünde. The tickets are personal and non-transferable and do not entitle the holder to bring additional passengers.
Users are required to carry the ticket and present it upon request. Passengers found without a valid ticket are required to pay an increased fare. Further details are regulated in § 7 of the Conditions of Carriage. If the entitlement to free use ceases to apply, the user must return the ticket immediately to the ferry office. Once the eligibility conditions no longer apply, the user is immediately subject to payment according to the current fare and fare regulations. Legal action in case of violations remains reserved.
