Holders of a valid osteseecard from the municipalities of the South region can purchase a discounted ticket with the imprint "ostseecard Region Süd" during the period specified on the card. Note: Children do not automatically receive their own ostseecard until the age of 18, but only upon request. If no ostseecard is available, the regular fare must be paid for both children and adults.

The offer is valid exclusively on regular buses and is only available there.

Within the ostseecard South region, adults and children only pay 1€ per single journey. This fare is valid for any journey within the specified area, for example within Neustadt or for the route from Neustadt to Travemünde.

Holders of a ostseecard for adults are allowed to bring up to three children under the age of 6 free of charge. The validity period is 2 hours from the ticket imprint. The following municipalities belong to the South region: Neustadt in Holstein, Sierksdorf, Scharbeutz, Timmendorfer Strand, and the district of Lübeck-Travemünde. Towards Lübeck, the respective ostseecard is only valid until the Travemünder Landstraße stop. For journeys beyond that, a ticket from the Schleswig-Holstein fare must be purchased.
